I was tasked to design a logo for the Singapore Undergraduate Philosophy Conference (SUPC) in 2024.
The conference was jointly held by The Red Stone (NUS Philosophy undergraduate journal) and The Nanyang Philosophy Review (NTU Philosophy’s publication).

The figure in front is John Locke, a British philosopher widely regarded as the founder of British empiricism. I decided to swap Socrates out from the promotional poster for Locke as the theme was Tabula Rasa—blank slate—which is more clearly affilated with empicist lines of thought than Socrates, who was more of an idealist.
The Mickey head was retained for consistency since it was used in the conference’s promotional poster (to elicit inquisitive attitudes).
